fight coronavirus The World Health Organisation (WHO) sent 25 international experts to study the spread of Covid-19 (or Coronavirus) in China. After nine days of study, the team published its findings. The full video of the press conference (see above) and the report are available.

 Here are some of the things worth paying attention to:

  1. Older people are more susceptible to Covid-19. So it is better to keep your elders away from social functions where they may catch the infection.
  2. Younger people with stronger immunity had the least number of fatalities. Sleep between 10 pm -12 am is essential to building immunity and human growth hormone (HGH). Make sure you sleep early and for at least 7-8 hours every day.
  3. Fever, dry cough, exhaustion, cough with mucus, shortness of breath and sore throat are the most common symptoms among patients infected with Coronavirus.
  4. Early identification of suspect cases is critical to containment efforts. If you get infected by accident, do not rush to a hospital. Isolate yourself from everyone in your surrounding and then call for an ambulance.
  5. Close your mouth with an elbow or a hanky while coughing or sneezing. This is crucial because the infection spreads through saliva and mucus. Wash your hands with an alcohol-based hand wash or a soap to kill potential contamination.
  6. Avoid large gatherings. Since the virus has now spread to different international locations, it is hard to track people movements across the country. 
  7. Stop shaking hands and adopt Namaste as your greeting, at least for now.

There is no vaccine or proven cure for this virus apart from your immunity. So instead of spending time or money or exotic remedies suggested by social media posts or WhatsApp, stick to Good health practices. Do not spread rumours and create panic.
